| The Lake Tapps Task Force is the central organization working to save Lake Tapps. It is lead by Pierce County Executive John Ladenburg. It consists of a varied membership of city, county, state and federal agencies, as well as Puget Sound Energy and various citizens groups included Save Lake Tapps Coalition.
